Privacy considerations for AVAX to ETH
Where offered, Private Route is designed to reduce an obvious direct association between the sending wallet and received assets; it does not make AVAX on Linea or ETH on Optimism activity anonymous or invisible. Linea exposes account history, token approvals, contract calls, logs, gas funding, amounts, and timing under its own chain identifier. It is a zero-knowledge EVM rollup that batches execution and proves state to Ethereum. L2 transaction inclusion, proof completion, and Ethereum settlement are different stages, while token contracts remain specific to Linea. Optimism exposes account history, token approvals, contract calls, logs, gas funding, amounts, and timing under its own chain identifier. OP Mainnet is an OP Stack optimistic rollup with sequenced L2 execution and Ethereum settlement. Its canonical withdrawal model has different timing from ordinary L2 inclusion, and OP Mainnet token contracts are distinct from Ethereum and other OP Stack chains. AVAX is native to the Avalanche primary network and pays C-Chain gas. An AVAX-labeled contract on another smart-contract network is tokenized AVAX rather than the native C-Chain coin. ETH is native gas on Ethereum and several rollups, but each network maintains a separate ETH balance and transaction history. A contract-wrapped form is not the native gas balance. Token contracts, approvals, wallet reuse, recognizable amounts, close timing, and later consolidation can create association signals. Private routing changes only part of that observable transaction context. Identity-verification requirements are separate and must be checked in the live flow.

Linea exposes account history, token approvals, contract calls, logs, gas funding, amounts, and timing under its own chain identifier. It is a zero-knowledge EVM rollup that batches execution and proves state to Ethereum. L2 transaction inclusion, proof completion, and Ethereum settlement are different stages, while token contracts remain specific to Linea. ETH is the native gas asset for Linea. Reusing the sending address, approval pattern, or recognizable amount can preserve source-side context.

OP Mainnet is an OP Stack optimistic rollup with sequenced L2 execution and Ethereum settlement. Its canonical withdrawal model has different timing from ordinary L2 inclusion, and OP Mainnet token contracts are distinct from Ethereum and other OP Stack chains. Receiving-address reuse, immediate consolidation, and later transfers can create destination-side associations.
Linea source role versus Optimism destination role
A Linea source is executed on the zkEVM rollup and later proven to Ethereum; L2 inclusion and proof settlement are distinct source milestones. Those source-side events remain visible. An OP Mainnet receipt belongs to the OP Stack L2 and needs ETH on that network for later activity; it is not an Ethereum L1 balance. That receipt and later destination activity remain visible.
