Bitcoin is a L1 Bitcoin Script network in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
It spends discrete UTXOs rather than debiting an account balance. Input selection creates outputs and often change, confirmation depth matters to the provider, and a native receiving address must match the Bitcoin address types accepted by the active route. Confirmation depth is evaluated by the active route provider.
BTC is the native gas asset for Bitcoin. Wallets select spendable outputs and can create change; there is no ERC-20 approval step.
Native Bitcoin address supported by the route, including network-specific bech32 or legacy formats. Use a wallet that explicitly supports this network
8 outgoing bridge directions, 8 incoming bridge directions, and 234 exact swap routes are currently represented. Each direction has separate source gas, destination address, and representation checks.
BTC are recorded for this network. Native balances and contract tokens must still be distinguished in the exact route.
Bitcoin has one recorded provider mapping. Availability remains conditional on the exact asset pair, direction, amount, and current quote.
Use the recorded explorer at https://mempool.space/ to verify network activity. Network documentation begins at https://bitcoin.org/.
BTC confirmations can take longer during congestion. Native BTC and wrapped BTC are different assets.
Bitcoin transactions remain public, and UTXO inputs, outputs, change, timing, and later consolidation can reveal transaction relationships. Private Route is designed to reduce the direct visible connection between where funds originate and where assets are received; it does not erase the public transaction graph. Availability depends on the exact asset, direction, amount, provider, and current route conditions.
